SANE's in-house services can provide you with support through a number of channels:

SANEline

0845 767 8000 Open every day of the year from 6pm - 11pm.

A national out-of-hours helpline staffed by fully trained and supervised volunteers. It offers confidential emotional support and up-to-date information relating to mental health related issues.

SANE Online Discussion Board

A safe place for people to share thoughts, feelings, and find mutual support regarding mental health issues any time of the day or night. It is moderated by SANE's staff.

General Practitioner / Accident and Emergency Department

Make an appointment or phone to speak with your GP. If you are in crisis and need urgent attention you can go to your nearest hospital A&E department.

If you feel distressed or suicidal while taking part in the project stop responding to the questionnaire and focus on your well-being. The research team are available between 9am and 5pm weekdays to help you access support should you need it.
