Understanding Service User Treatment Choices

Welcome to our research project on treatment choices.

We are no longer recruiting participants. Many thanks to all who took part. Please use the links above to learn more about the study.

SANE believes that sometimes taking the treatments offered for schizophrenia and bipolar disorder can feel as difficult as the symptoms themselves.

If you are taking or prescribing these treatments, SANE would like to hear about your experiences.

1. Starting out

You can learn more about the project by using the menu above.

2. Taking part

For this study we are seeking the views of both mental health service users and clinicians

We would like to hear from you if you EITHER:

have a diagnosis of bipolar disorder or schizophrenia, live in England, can understand and speak or write good English, and are aged 16 or over

OR

are a psychiatrist working in England with service users who have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder or schizophrenia, and are responsible for prescribing them treatments (medical and/or non-medical)

If you are interested in taking part in the project, you can find out how to do that in the Participant Centre.

3. Looking for help
